Re: Zip functionality using DXL llandale - Thu Feb 18 17:51:34 EST 2010
Huh?
You can send Windows commands via the 'system' DXL function. If your DXL creates a text file, you can display it to the user like this:
system (
"Notepad.exe " NameFile)
Notepad.exe is in the 'path', probably /Windows.
I'm sure WinZip has command line parameters, so perhaps you can do something like this:
string NameZipFile =
"c:/My Documents/MyZipFile.zip"
void AddFileToZip(string NameZipFile, NameOtherFile)
{
// add the file to the Zip file, creating it if needed
// I don't know the command line options, nor where WinZip is located,
// so the following is just an example. system(
"c:/Program Files/Winzip/winzip.exe -ZipFile " NameZipFile
" -add " NameOtherFile
"")
} AddFileToZip(NameZipFile,
"c:/My Documents/MyFirstFile.txt") AddFileToZip(NameZipFile,
"c:/My Documents/MyOtherFile.txt") AddFileToZip(NameZipFile, NameZipFile)
// Just for fun to see what happens.
What do you mean by 'attachment of files'?
